new york new york
Well guys, I'm back from my whirlwind buying and exploring trip to New York City for the New York International Gift Fair! I had quite the action packed few days, visiting the show looking for ideas for our Spring-Summer 2013 line, meeting people, scoping out packaging suppliers, finding new sources for some of our supplies, tracking down great food, and most importantly aimlessly wandering through the city! I got a lot done, and that is definitely one HUGE show! It seems like it just never ends and there are always more exhibitors to see, even after days of walking through it it's impossible to see everything! I also had a chance to relax a bit more than I do at home, so that was nice. I feel well rested and ready to return to building my soap empire! As you know, I also launched the Fall-Winter line while I was away--someone remind me not to do that from far away next time, it was a little tough! I have lots of inspiration posts and food posts coming, to share all the different parts of my trip with you. There was definitely some amazing food!

1. Chrysler building.
2. The best cherries I've had in a long while.
3. A pink building that reminded me of the Dot & Lil pink, across the street from where I was staying in the East Village.
4. A lovely vintage lace curtain that I adored, in my friend Danielle's apertment, on a happy sunshiny morning waking up in New York.
More to come in the next few days!
